How to remove programs in Mac OS X System Preferences Pane?

Remove Mac OS X System Preferences Pane

In Mac OS X, some applications will install as a System Preferences pane. You can’t drag these to the trash like most applications. So how do you get rid of them?

Hold down the control key and click on the preference pane. This will display a menu with one option,Remove “Name of Application” Preference Pane. Click on this menu option (the only option) and the pane will be removed from System Preferences.
